Koenigsegg CCXR - the new fastest car in the world

Cars Mania Blog
Auto Car | Koenigsegg CCXR - the new fastest car in the world | Swedish 'hypercar' manufacturer Koenigsegg has released some technical specifications and hi-res images of their newest and baddest model - the CCXR.

Powered by a bio-fuel twin supercharged 4.8-litre V8 engine, the CCXR pumps out an unbelievable 749kW (1018hp) at 7,200rpm and 1060Nm (740 lb-ft) of torque!

If you thought the Lamborghini Reventon that gave a Panavia Tornado jet-fighter a run for its money was fast enough, then think again because the CCXR is good for a 0-100km/h time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 400km/h!

This figures are insane! And that's before we even start talking about moolah!

The Koenigsegg CCXR will cost €1,575,000 plus taxes, so yeah, these babies will be rarer than rocking horse sh**, guaranteed.
