Auto Car | 2010 Abt Audi A1 | German tuning firm ABT Sportsline has just introduced a new package for the Audi A1. This tuning car features an aerodynamics kit, updated exhaust, revised suspension, performance enhancement, and new wheels. In terms of its external design, this model is upgraded in terms of brushed aluminum, grass green or lavender.

Each color is relevant to ABT's three new decór appearances named “Klecks”, “High-Voltage”, and “Aloha”. To be specific, Klecks represents splashes of color, High-Voltage shows off an “evil brother” with a “most toxic skull design”, and Aloha means the “laid-back beach boy” of the bunch.

In terms of its operation parts, this tuning edition features new front lip spoiler and side skirts whereas rear upgrades consists of alterations at the skirt, diffuser, and a new spoiler. The tuners also supplemented a new muffler with dual tailpipes as well as a new suspension.

In terms of its performance, engineers have upgraded the 1.2-liter TFSI to offer 115 hp from 86 hp whereas output on the 1.4-liter TFSI is revised up to 150 hp from 122 hp. The 1.6-liter TDI engines are tuned to 110 or 125 hp along with an increase of 20 hp.

The ABT AS1 is the first Audi A1 tuning to reach the market. The ABT package is a complete kit designed to allow for an infinite number of personalised options. It features new aerodynamics, exhaust, suspension, wheels and performance upgrades. If you want to be noticed, there are three new colours: “Kleks” red, “Aloha” white and “High Voltage” black, which can be combined with ‘Z’ 17 or 18-inch alloy wheels.

The three new colours come with decorative elements with the red featuring white paint splashes, the black taking on a mean “toxic skull” design and the white “Aloha” as the name suggests, features Hawaiian style hibiscus flowers. The Audi A1 engines get power upgrades. The 1.2 TFSI gets another 29 hp, taking it to 115 hp and the 1.4 TFSI also gets the same boost, reaching 150 hp. The 1.6 TDI in both its 90 and 105 hp gets another 20 hp.
