Auto Car | Ford F-150 FX4 2007 | America's best-selling vehicle is available with a navigation system for 2007. F-150s come in regular cab, extended SuperCab, and crew cab SuperCrew versions. All have four doors. Rear doors on regulars and SuperCabs are rear hinged and don't open independently of the fronts. Extendeds and SuperCrews have a rear bench seat for up to six-passenger capacity. Cargo-bed lengths are 5.5 and 6.5 ft, and, for regular and SuperCabs, up to 8 ft.



All boxes are flush-fender Stylesides; the 6.5 is also available as a bulged-fender Flareside. Engines are a 202-hp 4.2-liter V6, 248-hp 4.6 V8, and 300-hp 5.4 V8. A 5-speed manual transmission is with the V6. A 4-speed automatic is optional with the V6 and standard with V8s. All F-150s offer rear-wheel drive. V8s are available with 4-wheel drive that includes low-range gearing but should not be left engaged on dry pavement. ABS is standard. Traction control is available for 2WD V8s. Side airbags and curtain side airbags are unavailable. Trim levels ascend through work-oriented XL, sporty STX, mainstream XLT, off-road FX4, luxury Lariat, and SuperCrew-only King Ranch. A sport-themed FX2 package with specific trim is newly available for 2WD XLT SuperCabs and SuperCrews. Harley-Davidson versions are specially trimmed SuperCrews with the 5.4 V8, 2WD or 4WD, and a 5.5-ft Styleside box.
