Auto Car | Lexus IS 300 by David Huang 2009 | Six different Lexus vehicles will be shown at SEMA, including the LFA. The 552 horsepower supercar will be joined by four differend IS 350C units, as well as a GS 350 and IS 300.
We all know that the lightweight LFA, a hand-assembled vehicle with a 4.8-liter V10, is pretty much the most exciting vehicle to come from the Japanese automaker. But it will not be the most powerful Lexus at SEMA.
That title goes to Mr. David Huang's IS 300. Huang has put over $100,000 into his car, eventually getting the car's Toyota 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine to produce about 1,000 horsepower. His car sits on 20-inch anodized chrome wheels, which cover Endless rotors and calipers. The Midnight-Purple paint accentuates a great deal of the car's body work.
Amongst the other vehicles, are a Toyota Racing Development designed GS 350 fitted with a variety of F-Sport performance parts. TRD was also in charge of one of the IS 350C units, matched by a tuner job from VIP Auto Salon & JTuned.com, and a model by 0-60 Magazine & Design Craft Fabrication.
